Kamal-e-Shairi is an original Urdu book of Islamic poetry (Hamd, Naat, Munajat) with detailed tashreeh (explanation) in the light of Quran and Hadith.
The book begins with a Muqaddima on the power and status of poetry in Islam and the Maqam of Hazrat Hassan bin Sabit (RA), followed by chapters including Asrar-e-Hamd, Naat Sall-e-Ala, Munajat-e-Dawar, Paiman-e-Ahd-e-Alast, Fitrat and Tauheed, Amal or Nasab, Fani Dunya, Haqeeqat-e-Dunya, Hubb-e-Dunya, Karbala ke Baad Mukhtar, Masjid-e-Babri – Tareekh ka ek Zakhm, and other moral and spiritual topics.
Each poem is presented with a verse-by-verse explanation and authentic references from the Quran, Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Tirmidhi and classical Islamic history (Tabari, Ibn Kathir).
